Take A Stand

I read the most interesting article about students taking a stand.  A 10 year old girl has been raising money for kids in other countries who don't have many freedoms and opportunities. Vivienne raises money by making lemonade during rain or shine. The cause is that Vivienne saw a picture of two boys carrying large rocks on their backs and thought that it wasn't fair for them to not have the same freedom and opportunities as her and many other children.Vivienne has been taking action and showing alot of empathy by putting her shoes into their shoes and feeling what they probrably feel."My perspective is that I think that Vivienne is doing a great job by showing empathy to kids that should get the same rights as her". "My teacher perspective is that Vivienne is a very principled person & I love how she took action even if it didn't directly benefit her. Theses are the people that make the world such a better place". "I agree with the founding fathers in that this country was created to provide freedom.I think that includes all men , woman and ,children .I think as long as you work hard and push yourself opportunities will come to you.If I could change the world like Vivienne I would work to have all kids experience challenging education that prepares them for life experiences.I also feel that kids that don't get freedom and opportunities have so much to offer but are not allowed". Since then , Vivienne has raised alot more money and has a better chance of reaching her goal to get kids the right freedom and opportunities all around the world. Our responsibility is to try making the world a better place by taking action just like Vivienne has raised for kids. Our lessson is that children all around the world suffer from poverty and they should get right choices.
